**Job Title: Pinball Museum Attendant**
Seattle Pinball Museum is a vibrant hub for pinball enthusiasts and casual players alike. Our museum boasts an extensive collection of vintage and modern pinball machines, offering visitors a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the nostalgia and excitement of this classic arcade game. We are dedicated to preserving the history of pinball while also providing a fun and interactive experience for guests of all ages.
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Pinball Museum Attendant. As an Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience while visiting the museum. Your primary duties will include welcoming visitors, providing information about the exhibits and machines, enforcing museum policies, and assisting with game maintenance and troubleshooting.
**Responsibilities:**
- Greet visitors as they enter the museum and provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance.
- Monitor the museum floor to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
- Answer questions about the history of pinball and the specific machines in our collection.
- Enforce museum policies regarding gameplay, safety, and conduct.
- Assist guests with operating pinball machines and provide basic troubleshooting support.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on pinball machines, such as cleaning and minor repairs.
- Handle cash transactions, ticket sales, and merchandise purchases.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the museum, including restocking supplies and tidying up play areas.
**Qualifications:**
- Passion for pinball and a genuine interest in preserving its history.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with people of all ages and backgrounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn about pinball machine maintenance.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Minimum age requirement: 21 years old.
